I bet all the other hunters of the world are just looking at the sky and going-
“fucking winchesters”
“Angels. They’re falling.”
oh damn. Mark Gatiss knows how to write his Doctor Who. though I liked The Cold War, it didn’t sweep me off my feet, but tonight’s episode did. it was fantastic, the main plotline as well as the little things, like the fainting chap or that amazing bit in sepia. Ada turned out to be a great character that got my sincere sympathy. I also loved how the Doctor was the one that needed saving this time and how Jenny stepped into the role, kicked the baddies’ asses and punched the Doctor in the face when he kissed her because Time Lord or not I’m spoken for you alien twat. I was delighted to see the whole trio back - Madame Vastra and Strax too.
the only thing that bothers me is that I was surprised at liking this episode so much. it’s sad how I subconsciously lowered my expectations of DW this season… but still. I’m glad I was proven wrong this week.
it. was. smashing.
